Service Description: Rehabilitation to persons who are blind * service at home or in the community

Services include:
  • orientation and mobility training
  • independent living skills training
  • community engagement support services
  • assistive/ technology training
  • occupational therapy services
  • mental health wellness
  • pre-employment program

Fees: Free
Application: No referral required * call
Eligibility / Target Population: People of 16 years of age and older who are blind or have partial sight

BALANCE for Blind Adults is a non-profit organization with over 30 years' experience, funded by the Ministry of Health through the Toronto Central LHIN. We serve clients in their homes and communities and run group and individual programming at our main office and other locations, including the Toronto Reference Library.
