Service Description:

Fundraising for and development of initiatives to improve the lives of children and youth involved in child welfare system, including youth leaving care- partners with nonprofit and corporate sponsors to fund programs and services, generally delivered by local child welfare agencies and community organizations
- pre-employment development and support
- financial literacy training
- scholarships, bursaries
Youth Opportunity Fund -- career and academic funding, individual grants to current and former Crown Wards for activities that will assist in achieving career success
TELUS Mobility for Good -- free 2-year cell phone plan with 3 GB of data, option to receive refurbished smartphone or use existing phone

Eligibility / Target Population:

Youth Opportunity Fund -- youth up to 26 years (up to 30 years considered on case by case basis) who are current or former Crown wards, involved with any child welfare agency in the Greater Toronto Area
