Service Description:

Mobile comprehensive eyecare and eyewear * will meet clients in their homes, or other community locations such as schools, retirement homes, residential care facilities, workplaces, and First nations communities
Services include:
- eye examination (optometry) and eye health assessment * eye examination provided by registered optometrists
- retinal imaging and visual field testing as appropriate
- eye analysis and consultation (optician)
- prescription glasses/non-prescription safety eyewear
- treatment for eye conditions
- diagnosing and treating dry eyes
- referrals to other eyecare professionals (ophthalmologist) if required
- portable clinical equipment brought to each location to improve access for people facing mobility or transportation barriers
