Woods Manor Supportive Housing - Personal care for residents of Woods Manor

Adult Day Program - The goal of the Adult Day program is to provide respite for caregivers and family members. The program offers a variety of quality activities and services in a safe and supportive environment to individuals living in the community who are physically frail or have cognitive impairment. Participants receive nutritious meals and snacks, and assistance with activities of daily living.

Congregate Dining - Social activities and a hot meal * activities can include games, crafts, and physical activities

Foot Care - Basic foot care provided by Doctor of Podiatry

Home Help or Homemaking - Homeworkers are available to assist with light housekeeping duties. Such duties may include: tidying up main living areas (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping), washing dishes and countertop, cleaning sinks, bathtub and toilets, changing bedding, light meal preparation, light laundry and light shopping (4 bags max). Prior to service, a Care Coordinator will conduct an in-home assessment to plan and coordinate services to meet your needs.

Medical Escort - Offer escort to medical appointments

Personal Care or Personal Support - Supports for the activities of daily living * includes personal care, meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping

Respite Care - Respite Care offers in-home, short-term relief for caregivers who are primary care providers to frail and/or disabled older adults who cannot be safely left alone, allowing them free time for other activities

Shopping Trips - Transportation for groups of seniors from their homes to designated neighbourhood stores or malls and back home * seniors are responsible for the cost of shopping items

Social and Recreational Activities - Social, recreational, and educational activities * can include crafts, cards, educational lectures, and outings

Transportation - Non-emergency transportation to local and long-distance medical appointments and regular activities such as grocery shopping, banking, foot clinic, congregate dining and lunch programs

Well Elderly Program - This program promotes a healthy lifestyle for the clients and members in our community. This program provides bus trips to concerts and other special locations like St. Jacobs, Niagara-on-the-Lake, noon hour concerts at Roy Thomson Hall, Canadian Opera Company noon hour concert, restaurant lunch trips, grocery weekly shopping outings and gentle fitness classes.
