Service Description: An organization run by people with disabilities * promote the rights of people with disabilities for them to take control of their own lives * offer opportunities for people with disabilities to learn skills * develop and implement services, programs and activities that empower individuals with disabilities

Programs include:
  • attendant service application
  • independent living skills training
  • direct funding/financement direct
  • parenting with disability network
  • peer support
  • service navigation
 
Attendant Service Application Centre (ASAC) - Centralized point of access for individuals with physical disabilities to apply for the following attendant services offered by all attendant service providers in Toronto and York Region
  • supportive housing attendant services
  • attendant outreach services
  • transitional and life skills programs 
Other services: Greenbook Online - searchable directory of attendant services in Ontario 
 
Direct Funding Program - Enables adults with permanent physical disabilities to become employers of their own attendants. Eligible participants will receive a budget so they can recruit, hire and train their own personal care attendants. Services are portable within Ontario and allow choice, flexibility and control to individuals who want to self-manage their attendant services.
