Service Description: Comprehensive information, assessment and intensive treatment to individuals 17 years or older with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa or other forms of disordered eating

Program includes:
  • Consultation and intake
  • Inpatient treatment
  • Day hospital treatment
  • Follow-up care
  • Modified Eating Disorder Assertive Community Treatment (MEDACT)
  • National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC)
 
Inpatient Service - Eating Disorder - Inpatient unit for patients who require hospitalization for their eating disorder. Short-term hospitalization is provided for patients who require medical stabilization or interruption of eating disorder symptoms. Longer stays of up to six weeks are provided for patients with moderate to severe anorexia nervosa to initiate weight restoration and the establishment of a regular eating pattern. Treatment is voluntary and focused on behavior change and health improvement.
