Service Description:
|
Coordinate equal access for students with disabilities by offering academic accommodations, assistive technology training and referral to on-campus and community services
Services offered to:
New Students: works with learners who may experience barriers related to: mental health conditions, learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, chronic health conditions, sensory disabilities (vision, hearing, etc.), mobility or physical disabilities, temporary injuries or medical conditions, other disability-related needs
Current Students: can connect to discuss accommodations or any barriers they may be experiencing in their learning environment. Two options available: Standard 50-minute appointment and Accelerated 30-minute appointment (visit website for appointment link)
Faculty: comprehensive resources for professors and academic administrators to help them better understand disability issues, facilitate the accommodation process and adopt more inclusive approaches in their teaching (check website for details)
