Midwives - North York

Midwives assess and monitor women during pregnancy, labour, the post-partum period, and their newborn babies. They provide care during normal pregnancy, labour, and the post-partum period and provide normal vaginal deliveries.

In Ontario, regulated health professions are governed under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA) and health profession acts (e.g., Medicine Act, 1991).

These services are located outside of North York, but provide service to North York.
