Community legal clinic, provides information, legal advice and representation in following areas:

employment law
housing law
immigration law
human rights (limited)
income supports - Ontario Works (OW), Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP),Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS)
affidavits and notarial true copies
referrals
public legal education workshops
community development

Does not help with but can provide referrals related to following area:

abuse and family violence
criminal law
debt and consumer rights
family law
French language rights
health and disability
help from other lawyers and paralegals
refugee law
services for victims of crime
tribunals and courts (in the areas of law clinic does not handle)
wills and powers of attorney

Fees:

Free but may be some costs related to court fees, medical expenses or other costs

Eligibility / Target Population:

Residents in catchment area who meet financial eligibility guidelines
